| Only registered delegates shall be allowed to attend the Scientific sessions and make presentations. All accepted abstracts shall be deleted from the program if registration fee is not received by 15th Nov. 2008. |

| Guidelines for filling the Abstract form |
- Use single space throughout the abstract.
- Write numbers as numerals except at the beginning of the sentences.
- Please mark the appropriate "category".
- The title should be typed in UPPER case.
- The text of the abstract should be typed in the sentence case. It should not exceed 250 words (2000 characters including space).
- The abstract will go to the press without editing, for publication in the Congress Transactions.

| Guidelines for Abstract Preparation |
- The abstract should be informative, containing (a) specific aims & objectives, (b) methods, (c) observations, (d) results, (e) discussion & (f) conclusions of the study.
- For case reports, include introduction, case report & discussion.
- If the abstract pertains to an experimental topic or a clinical trial, state clearly the hypothesis being tested, describe quantitatively the experimental subject & the statistical data used.
- Statements such as “results will be discussed” are not acceptable.
- Please retain a copy of the abstract for your records.

| Abstract selection & Acknowledgement |
- The decision of the Scientific Committee shall be binding & final.
- The abstract status shall be notified to the presenting author only.
- The complete scientific program shall be placed on the website by 15th December 2008.

| Types of presentation |
| Free papers |
- Each podium presentation is for 8 minutes (6 minutes + 2 minutes).
- Only Power-Point presentations will be allowed.
- Presentations must be submitted on a CD / Pen Drive.
- Personal laptops will not be allowed.
- Presentations must be submitted to the preview room a day prior to presentation or atleast six hours before the session.

| Posters |
- Posters must include introduction, aims & objectives, methods, observations, results, discussion & conclusions.
- Size 120 cms (height) X 90 cms (width).
- All posters are to be put up between 09:00 am - 04:00 pm on 18th January 2009. They must be removed by 04:00 pm on 20th January 2009.

| NABI Best Paper Award |
- Open to all registered delegates.
- Please indicate if you wish your free paper to be considered for "NABI Best Paper Session”.
- The Scientific Committee reserves the right to shortlist abstracts for the Award Session.
- Each paper shall be judged for originality, content, quality of presentation & discussion.
- The decision of the judges shall be final.
